These days keeping a watch-list is a pure labor of love. 

Trading requires extreme patience in this market, while you wait for just the right setups to unfold. Most of the times they never happen, leading to days of boredom and restlessness. 

Nonetheless, it remains oh-so-important to remain steadfast to the trading disciplines that have made me a profitable trader in the best and worst of markets. Most importantly, I refuse to force my will upon the market. Do I want it to break out in one direction or the other? Yes! 

Is it doing that? No!

Does that mean I trade just because I want to trade? No! 

That’s discipline.

If the opportunity arises I have no problem in jumping on those opportunities. But until that opportunity arises and it could come any day now, I will remain nimble and light in my trading while waiting for the market to decide for itself to figure which direction it wants to go.
