Here are the past month’s best and worst performing industries. Some quick observations here, 1) Broadcasting & Radio is on top with a 20.43% return. I guess with all the spending and corruption in D.C., the masses are running to talk radio and the ad revenue as a result is through the roof (how is that for fundamental analysis!). The other area I found interesting is that toy stores and music/video stores are on top as well. Either A) February had a ton of birthdays, or B) consumers continue to dig a whole with mounting debt and have bought into the political rhetoric that we are “breaking the back of the recession”. All I have to say about that is “Mission Accomplished“.
As for the worst performing industries, silver continues to bounce from worst to best and now back to worst again for the past three months. Semi-conductor has fallen off of its highs, as well as housing/construction industries.
