My Swing Trading Approach
I am positioned to take advantage of this market for whatever direction it decides to go today. Bulls are showing difficulty with maintaining intraday profits and very much susceptible to end of day sell-offs.
Indicators
- VIX – Finished 2.8% lower, despite yesterday’s sell-off. Still above 20.
- T2108 (% of stocks trading below their 40-day moving average): Dropped only 2% despite a hard sell-off yesterday.
- Moving averages (SPX): Rejected at the 20-day moving average again, and dropped back below the 50-day moving average.

Industries to Watch Today
Only Industrials and Financials finished in positive territory, yesterday. Utilities, Real Estate and Energy led the way lower. Technology remains one of the best sector charts out there.
My Market Sentiment
Another huge rejection at the 20-day moving average, and a 46 point drop off of the highs of the day. Showing signs now it wants to retest the 200-day moving average again.
