The market running wild, with little to no regard for downside risk. That hasn’t happened much to the extent we have seen over the last four months, but it has’t showed any serious signs of stopping yet either. 

So until it does, trading to the long side is the only trade in town

One thing to watch for, and I saw it in one of my trades today, are for stocks that are breaking out but immediately result in a head fake. That is very likely to start becoming more and more prevalent. Stocks trading at all time highs and then breaking out to new all-time highs yet again, are going to find more and more exhaustion at these levels when it comes to new buyers trying to push the stocks even higher. 

Here then is my stocks watchlist for the long side of things and be careful that you aren’t putting yourself into a low volume breakout scenario or simply buying a polished turd at its lows, because stocks that are not able to rally in this market, has a whole other set of issues as well. I’ve put together a list that avoids these types of stocks.
