Jumped into FFIV earlier today at $106.60, and has done nothing but helped blunt the losses in PGH, KEY and a few other holdings. A few of the other stocks that I’ve traded today, was Apple (AAPL) at $345.81 and SPY at $130.42, both off of the 50-day moving averages, and when Oil shot up to $104, I took a position in SCO – the UltraShort ETF on oil. at $43.58. So far these positions have been good to me, though I will admit, that the Saudia Arabia rumors took what was a profitable day and rained on my parade, but fortunately, has managed to come off of those portfolio lows since then.
Of the trades that I’ve made today, I will definitely hold Apple (AAPL) and maybe FFIV, and will undoubtedly dump my position in SPY.
